The fact that the cholesterol, creating a connection to the protein is kept in blood and not deposited on the walls of blood vessels. 60-70% of the protein accounted for egg whites and lean meats, fish, dairy products. A smaller percentage is given to plant proteins.

In the excretion of cholesterol from the body play a great role lipotropic substances (choline, methionine). Choline is present in legumes, spinach, oatmeal, herring, cheese. Methionine comes with lamb, pike perch, cod, buckwheat. Hypolipidemic properties have foods that contain ascorbic acid, pyridoxine, Niacin, copper, cobalt, magnesium, iodine, manganese.

Sample menu for high cholesterol

• Breakfast: steam protein omelet, buckwheat porridge and tea with skim milk

Anticholesterol diet presented in the article brings only benefits. It ensures the supply of healthy fats, protein and complex carbohydrates, but prevents the formation of excess cholesterol.
