Hurry to buy luscious date pudding with orange acidity and a sweet caramel sauce! The dessert is amazing! Preparing is not difficult. This recipe is quite a bit different from those already represented on the site, but still has its own peculiarity. The recipe comes from gourmet magazine "Gourmet cakes". Photographer from me worthless)-so far... so, sorry.
|Cooking time 60 minutes||Number of servings 8|
Preheat the oven to 180C. Pour in the pan the orange juice, add the dates, baking soda and 150 ml. of water. Put on fire and bring to a boil. Remove from heat.
Whisk butter with sugar in a lush cream. Whisk in orange zest and vanilla extract.
Then enter the eggs one by one, each time carefully whisking.
Gently stir the flour with the baking powder.
Again boil date-orange mixture and parts of it into the dough.
Place the silicone mold on a baking sheet and pour in it the dough.
Bake for 30 minutes until a sample on a dry stick. I use wooden skewers.
Give five minutes to cool in the oven, then gently spread on a lattice ( the pudding is very delicate, in the photo you can see I made a small slip up) and leave until cool.
Meanwhile, prepare caramel sauce. In a saucepan with a thick bottom, heat on a low heat, stirring constantly, the cream with the sugar and butter until the sugar is dissolved. Turn up the heat and bring the mixture to a boil, stir and remove from heat.
Cut the pudding into 8 servings and place on dessert plates. Pour the sauce and serve pudding alone, or add whipped cream or ice cream. Bon appetit!
