I offer a delicious, rich stew of duck meat with addition of... vanilla. Very nice recipe! P. S. By the same principle it is possible to prepare chicken Breasts.
Ingredients for Duck meat with vanilla
- Breast of duck - 2 PCs
- Shallots - 2 PCs
- Garlic - 2 the tooth.
- Vanilla pod - 2 PCs
- Turmeric - 1 tsp.
- Tomato paste - 2 tbsp
- Soy sauce - 2 tbsp
- Dry white wine - 250 ml
- Broth - 250 ml
- Black pepper
- Olive oil - 2 tbsp
Step by step instruction of cooking Duck meat with vanilla
Remove the fat from the duck Breasts and cut into large cubes.
Onions and garlic peel and finely chop.
In skillet, heat olive oil and fry the duck until Golden on all sides.
Remove the duck on a dish and in same pan fry on medium heat onion until soft.
At this time, the vanilla pod cut in two in length and with a knife scrape the vanilla seeds from the inside.
To the onions add the vanilla seeds, garlic, turmeric. Pour in the wine.
Cook about 1-2 minutes over medium heat.
Pour soy sauce, add the tomato paste and broth.
I used soy sauce brand "Kikkoman".
Return to the pan the duck pieces, cover and cook on low heat for about 40 minutes, stirring from time to time.
