Stew beans with walnuts, cilantro and fenugreek

Georgian lobio - beans. There are hundreds of Georgian recipes and they are all called "they". So vain disputes about authenticity. This stew is served hot as a main dish, or cold as a salad or appetizer. It is believed that the next day after cooking they become even tastier. This dish is suitable for vegetarians and fasting.
Ingredients for Stew beans with walnuts, cilantro and fenugreek
- Beans - 300 g
- Red onion - 1 piece
- Cilantro - 1 Puig.
- Garlic - 3 tooth.
- Walnuts - 70 g
- Fenugreek - 1/2 tsp.
- Sunflower oil - 2 tbsp
Step by step instruction of cooking Stew beans with walnuts, cilantro and fenugreek
Soak the beans overnight or for several hours. I took the Kidney beans TM Mistral.
Then boil until tender.
Onion and garlic finely chop.
Fry with oil until Golden brown. Remove from the heat.
Nuts and cilantro, finely chop.
The beans must remain in a small amount of water. Crush beans with a potato masher until mushy state, leaving part of fasolino intact.
Season with salt and pepper, add the fenugreek (utsho-suneli), stir. Add nuts, cilantro and fried onions.
