Recently my attention was drawn to the Sunny pumpkin cake, one of the reasons why I decided to cook a pumpkin, decorating the fridge:) to Make it very nice because hassle-free. And yet, it is incredibly spicy, with sour-sweet notes of orange:) Especially nice to have on your table this honey, tasty and tender:)
Ingredients for Cake pumpkin-orange
- Pumpkin - 400 g
- Chicken egg - 4 PCs
- Flour - 400 g
- Sugar - 250 g
- Vegetable oil - 1 Cup.
- Orange - 1,1/2 PCs
- Leavening agent - 2 tsp.
- Cinnamon - 2 tsp.
- Sour cream - 700 ml
- Powdered sugar - 150 g
Step by step instruction of cooking Cake pumpkin-orange
Raw pumpkin grate on a fine grater and chop the nuts.
Eggs vzbit with sugar (aureole)
Add the butter and zest, mix well
Separately mix flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon
Plug it in, add the pumpkin and nuts, mix well (the dough is the consistency of dough for pancakes)
On parchment paper draw a circle (the size of the desired cake. I was a circle with a diameter of 26 cm)
With a spoon spread the dough on the perimeter of the circle. (I used the ring)
Bake cakes one at a time in a preheated 180 gr. the oven for 10-15 minutes.
I got 5 cakes:)
Orange juice proverjaem on low heat with sugar until thick (about 15 minutes) and allow to cool
Sour cream mixed with powdered sugar and enter the syrup and add the zest.
The cooled cake liberally lubricated cream and decorate as desired. I have the cake decorated with crumbs from the remnants of dough and oranges. Leave the cake overnight in a cool place.
