Ingredients for Kulich Easter
- Flour - 1000 g
- Milk - 350 ml
- Yeast - 2.5 tsp.
- Raisins - 200 g
- Orange - 1 piece
- Lemon - 1 piece
- Sugar - 180 g
- Vegetable oil - 180 ml
- Salt - 1 tsp.
- Chicken egg - 4 PCs
Step by step instruction of cooking Kulich Easter
All products for the dough must be at room temperature. Yeast TM SAF - moment to dissolve in warm milk.
Pour into a bowl, add 1 tablespoon of sugar and 0.5 cups of flour. Mix well and leave for 5 - 10 minutes.
Raisins pre-wash, soak it overnight in a fragrant alcohol. I poured homemade vanilla -orange liqueur. Before using squeeze.
To remove a special knife the zest from lemon and orange. And cut it in small cubes.
In the dough add the eggs, sugar, salt. Mix well. Then add the raisins, zest of orange and lemon.
Add in a bowl the vegetable oil, and then sift the flour.
Knead smooth, elastic dough. I kneaded the dough by hand, not less than 10 minutes. Cover the dough with cling film and leave to ferment for 1-1.5 hours.
The finished dough should increase in volume by three times.
