A lush twist of the very "economical" test, but nevertheless very tasty!!!
Ingredients for Baton-twist
- Water - 350 ml
- Chicken egg - 1 piece
- Salt - 1 tsp.
- Sugar - 5 tbsp
- Yeast - 1 package.
- Vegetable oil - 4 tbsp
Step by step instruction of cooking Baton-twist
In warm water with a whisk stir 3-4 tbsp flour, a pinch of sugar and pour a packet of yeast "SAF-moment". Wait for the "beanie" (about 15 minutes)
To the remaining flour add the salt and sugar, egg and butter, add the dissolved yeast
Knead the dough
The dough is put in a pot, cover with a lid or cling film and leave to rise for 1.5-2 hours. Then punch down and start cutting
From this number the test we want to make two large braids.
So, divide the dough into 2 parts. Each part divide into 4 pieces.
Collect the strands into a bun. Begin to weave. Each even harness, flicking through every odd
Now two Central harness toss the left over the right
Then again, even the harnesses, flicking through the odd and twisted Central. And so to the end.
Put the braid on a baking sheet, grease with sweet tea. If desired, sprinkle with poppy, sesame, etc. Leaving the delay at least half an hour, then put in preheated oven. I bake at 160 degrees for about 25 minutes
