Easter cakes — a traditional dish at Easter. This is certainly one of the main dishes on the festive meal. I suggest to try another version, this time with cottage cheese, raisins and dried apricots. The cake turns out moderately sweet, crumbly.
Ingredients for The cake "Cheese"
- Milk - 110 ml
- Yeast - 2.5 tsp
- Flour - 500 g
- Sugar - 100 g
- Butter - 100 g
- Curd - 150 g
- Vanilla - 1 package.
- Raisins - 1/2 stack.
- Dried apricots - 1/2 stack.
Step by step instruction of cooking The cake "Cheese"
Dissolve the yeast in warm milk, add 3 tbsp flour, 1 tsp sugar and allow to rise 20-30 minutes
Egg whisk with sugar
Add the yeast mixture, grated cheese, melted butter, vanilla
Gradually add flour and knead a soft dough.
Leave in a warm place until the increase in volume in 2-3 times. Punch down and stir in the raisins and chopped dried apricots
Sort forms greased with oil and allow to rise 20-30 minutes
Bake at 175 degrees for about 30 minutes
