Made the cake according to this recipe the first time. Everyone loved it, asked for the recipe. Rum cake with candied fruit and raisins.
Ingredients for Easter cake air
- Milk - 170 ml
- Yeast - 2 tsp.
- Sugar - 130 g
- Flour - 430 g
- Chicken egg - 2 PCs
- Butter - 60 g
- Raisins - 30 g
- Candied - 30 g
- Sunflower oil
- Egg white - 1 piece
- Powdered sugar - 1/2 stack.
- Lemon juice - 1 tsp.
- Juice - 1 tsp.
Step by step instruction of cooking Easter cake air
The milk is heated to 36 degrees, put yeast "SAF-MOMENT", add 170 grams of flour and 1tbsp. L. sugar and a good stir. Then cover with a towel and put the dough in a warm place for 30 minutes.
Separate yolks from whites and beat with sugar until whitening.
Proteins mix with the salt and beat until thick white foam.
Then, in approaching the dough add the egg yolks and stir with a spatula.
Then add the remaining flour, mix well. Carefully enter the proteins, and cooled melted butter and knead the dough.
After that the dough cover with a towel and put in a warm place for 2 to 3 hours.
Candied fruits and raisins washed. I poured the rum, heated to a hot state. Leave at least 40 minutes.
