Girls, I present to you the recipe for absolutely stunning cake. I'm not exaggerating, honestly. In my defense I can say the following: I'm often in the reviews say they don't eat their pies, only try a small piece to have an idea of what I have done. But this cupcake... girls, afraid to admit I ate THREE pieces for Breakfast, lunch and dinner!!! Here's the situation:-)))
Ingredients for Greek cake with apples and nuts
- Flour - 3 stack.
- Vegetable oil - 1 Cup.
- Sugar - 1.5 stack.
- Chicken egg - 4 PCs
- Walnuts - 1 Cup.
- Apple - 1 piece
- Cinnamon - 1 tsp.
- Orange juice - 3/4 stack.
- Orange zest - 1 tbsp
- Leavening agent - 3 tsp.
- Powdered sugar - 1 tbsp
Step by step instruction of cooking Greek cake with apples and nuts
To prepare products to have everything at hand.
For the amount of juice it took me 1,5 medium orange. 1 to erase orange peel will get about 1 tbsp. Squeeze out the juice.
Apples cut into 4 pieces, remove the core, peel and cut into small cubes. Put them in a bowl and mix with 1 tsp sugar and tsp of cinnamon.
Nuts grind in a blender, grinder or a mortar, but without fanaticism. Should remain a small but potent pieces.
Sift flour together with baking powder. To turn on the oven at 175*C.
In a large deep bowl, mix vegetable oil with sugar. Then break in your eggs.
Beat them into a homogeneous lush mass. Stir in the zest.
Then in parts add, alternating, the flour with the baking powder and orange juice, each time stirring the dough with a mixer.
In the end, add nuts
and apples, stir the batter with a spoon.
Oil special form for cupcakes and lightly sprinkle it with flour, shake off excess. Pour the dough, flatten and put in the oven for about 1 hour, until dry splinter.
I have baked 1 hour 10 minutes. Remove the cake from the oven, let it rest for 15-20 minutes
Then gently lay the cake on a dish, turning it at the same time. When the cake has cooled, sprinkle it with powdered sugar.
