These meat rolls know, probably in every country, but they are very popular at the Swabians.
Ingredients for Swabian Roulade
- Beef - 6 PCs
- Cucumber - 4 PCs
- Bacon - 6 PCs
- Onion - 2 PCs
- Black pepper
- The Apium graveolens Dulce
- Carrots - 2 PCs
- Dry red wine - 250 ml
- Water - 200 ml
- Bay leaf
- Starch - 2 tbsp
- Cream - 100 ml
- Tomato paste - 2 tbsp
Step by step instruction of cooking Swabian Roulade
The meat slightly discourage, sprinkle with mustard, salt and pepper.
Bacon to fry and put on meat.
Cucumbers cut in half and put bacon.
Onions cut into rings and fry until Golden brown (I roasted fried). Also put on the meat.
Meat spin rolls and fasten with a toothpick or, if you have spetsalno thread.
Then pull out on the plate. In this pan fry coarsely narrow strips of carrots, onions and celery. Extinguish with wine and water, add the Laurel, salt, pepper.
To put back the meat, cover and simmer for 50 minutes.
After you remove the meat.
Strain the sauce through a sieve, pour back into the pan. Starch to dissolve in cold water and pour into sauce, stir, bring to boil.
Put tomato paste, cream to taste, if anything, more flavoring.
Put in the meat sauce.
