Ingredients for Chicken in Apple and tomato sauce
- Chicken - 500 g
- Soy sauce - 2 tbsp
- Apple juice - 100 ml
- Starch - 1 tsp.
- Tomato paste - 2 tbsp
- Vegetable oil
- Water - 100 ml
- Vinegar - 1 tbsp
- Flour - 2 tbsp
Step by step instruction of cooking Chicken in Apple and tomato sauce
The chicken divided into small pieces.
Mix in separate bowl the soy sauce, Apple juice, pepper, vinegar and starch. Leave chicken in this marinade for an hour or two.
In hot pan pour oil, put the chicken, roll flour. (The marinade is not poured!) Fry until Golden brown.
Then reduce the heat and add the liquid in which marinated meat. Add the tomato paste. (I have frozen peppers and tomatoes). Pour 100 ml of water, cover, and simmer on low heat for about 15 minutes. If Apple juice is acidic, add 1/2 teaspoon of sugar. Pepper and salt to taste.
Serve with your favourite side dish, watering sauce.
