Delicious fluffy waffles. Husband and wouldn't ever tell I told him that in the rice flakes, and a decent amount in grams. The only downside is that the waffles soft. Perfect for a sandwich. But we convinced them and so, with tea. Waffles almost savoury, so who likes sweeter than sugar need to be added.
Ingredients for Rice cakes
- Rice flakes - 100 g
- Milk - 300 ml
- Flour - 250 g
- Cream - 100 ml
- Chicken egg - 3 PCs
- Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp
- Brown sugar - 2 tbsp
- Leavening agent - 1 tsp.
- Vanilla sugar - 10 g
Step by step instruction of cooking Rice cakes
To warm milk. Pour the rice flakes for 15 minutes.
Beat the eggs with sugar and vanilla sugar.
Sift flour with baking powder.
Add to the scrambled eggs cream, soaked rice flakes, knead thoroughly.
Leave the dough for 20-30 minutes
Preheat waffle iron, grease the panel with vegetable oil.
Bake waffles. Time is not indicated. Poorly baked, light waffle will be more soft if you hold it longer, it will be firmer and crumbly.
You can pour tea!
