This dish of Caucasian cuisine, "mast" is a fermented milk product, " khiyar" cucumber. In Iran, masther served with rice dishes and as a snack with chips.
Ingredients for Masther
- Cucumber - 2 PCs
- Raisins - 2-3 tbsp
- Mint - 2 tbsp
- Salt - 0.5 tsp.
- Acidophilus - 300 g
- Walnuts - 1 tbsp
Step by step instruction of cooking Masther
My cucumbers, peeled, grate on a coarse grater.
Raisin wash, add to the cucumbers.
I had acidophilus thermostat, you can take yogurt or kefir, add to the cucumbers.
Dried mint 1 tbsp and salt to taste.
Stir, serve. Bon appetit!
