Feijoada is a traditional Portuguese-speaking countries the dish of beans and meat products. The recipe is good because you can add all meats stored in the refrigerator. I made two versions, with real meat products and vegetable. Try it with us.
Ingredients for Feijoada
- Beans - 300 ml
- Onion - 2 PCs
- Tomato paste - 3 tbsp.
- Semi-sweet red wine - 200 ml
- Chili - 30 g
- Oregano - 3 depot.
- Vegetable oil
- Assorted meat - 270 g
Step by step instruction of cooking Feijoada
Put on to cook red beans, Pinto TM Mistral.
Cook until cooked. Beans should be very soft.
Cut onion into small cubes, fry in vegetable oil in a pot.
Add to the onions chilli and tomato paste. Simmer all together for 5 minutes.
Pour semi-sweet red wine is slightly evaporated.
Spread the beans into the cauldron. Simmer for another ten minutes.
Share the steamed vegetables into two parts. In the fast part, add meat, stir and simmer for another 7-10 minutes.
Arrange in portioned cups. It is a lean portion.
This is the fasting portion.
