Many will be surprised that the usual barley, in the old days was esteemed the king's food. I tried to restore this tradition by preparing the dish where the main element is pearl barley. The dish turned out delicious and hearty. I suggest you to cook this dish with me.

- Minced meat - 700 g
- Pearl barley - 2/3 of the stack.
- Onion - 1 piece
- Salt - 1.5 tsp.
- Black pepper - 1 tsp.
- Bread - 1 lomt.
- Bread crumbs - 2/3 of the stack.
- Cheese - 100 g
- Flour - 2 tbsp
- Butter - 50 g
- Spices - 1/2 tsp.
- Milk - 1 Cup.
- Vegetable oil - 3 tbsp.
Step by step instruction of cooking The meatballs with barley with cheese sauce
Pork, beef and chicken meat (thigh part), a slice of white bread to scroll through a fine lattice or punching in a blender. Add the boiled pearl barley (2/3 Cup)
Add chopped onion, salt and ground black pepper to taste. The mince and knead well.
