"Drunken chicken with vegetables" I have exhibited, it was the turn of meat. Prepares differently, but no less tasty and interesting. Very fragrant, tangy and moderately spicy pork, in the company of vegetables and mushrooms. In my recipe there are two options for adding wine, very affect the taste of the dish, despite the fact that it quite a bit. If you're interested - go to 50грамм!
Ingredients for Roast pork with wine
- Pork - 500 g
- Onion - 150 g
- Carrots - 150 g
- Pepper - 150 g
- Vegetable oil
- Dry white wine - 50 ml
- Mushrooms - 2 PCs
- Garlic - 1 piece
- Tomato paste - 1 tbsp
Step by step instruction of cooking Roast pork with wine
The meat is cut into long wedges or on its own, but not large. Pour the wine, mix well.
Onions cut into large feathers, a whole head of garlic cut crosswise.
Carrots and peppers cut into thick wedges.
In a thick-walled skillet or frying pan, heat a spoon of oil, put the meat together with the wine and evaporate it on very high heat.
Reduce the heat to medium, but not less. Add a couple of tablespoons of oil, onion and garlic and cook ( stirring occasionally ) until the onions and meat a little zabolottsy.
Add the carrots, bell pepper, tomato paste and spices.
I add freshly ground black pepper, smoked paprika, thyme, Basil, oregano, a half teaspoon, a little less. And chili, sure, but the taste!
With great love for rosemary, you can add it.
Mix well. 5-7 minutes add the Bay leaf (I have 3 very small) and 250ml of water or broth at room temperature.
Add salt, stir, cover, reduce the heat to low and cook for 20 minutes.
Mushrooms ( I have the cap from 2 large mushrooms) cut into slices-feathers, fry in a tablespoon of butter and add to the skillet. Simmer for another 20 minutes until the sauce thickens.
In this method of cooking the meat will be very well "drunk" and the taste of the wine will be felt mainly in it.
The second option.
The meat is fried with onions and garlic over high heat, then all steps are repeated, but the wine poured at the stage of adding mushrooms. The taste is quite different, but both delicious!
A couple of nuances.
Carrots, onions and pepper is better to take the same amount of quantity, it is nice and tasty.
Pork can be replaced with chicken or Turkey, but smaller then chop the vegetables, because the bird is cooked faster and coarsely chopped vegetables will remain harsh.
