Ingredients for Geshmak
- Lamb - 700 g
- Tomato - 1 kg
- Carrots - 300 g
- Potatoes - 700 g
- Vegetable oil - 50 g
- Onion - 1 piece
- Peppers red hot chilli - 12 PCs
- Coriander - 13 tsp.
- Zira - 13 tsp.
- Cilantro - 1 Puig.
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Step by step instruction of cooking Geshmak
For a start, we will cut the meat and potatoes of medium pieces, tomato slices, carrot layers, onion half rings, garlic thin layers, pepper medium-sized pieces.
Are soft the tomatoes and add to a pan with hot oil and slightly crush the tomatoes, season with salt and pepper. As boiled the tomatoes, put onions, peppers and cook on medium heat.
After 5 minutes, spread the meat, again sprinkle with salt and pepper, cover with a lid and leave to languish on low heat for 1-1.5 hours.
Then add carrots, cumin, coriander, and simmer on low heat for another 15 minutes. After you put the potatoes, garlic, a little salt and stew until ready on low heat for another 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes, turn off the stove, add cilantro, cover and allow to infuse for another 5 minutes.
Before serving, decorate with green onions and serve!
