Ingredients for Estonian porridge "Geratetrager"
- Peas - 1 Cup.
- Buckwheat - 0,75 stack.
- Potatoes - 3 PCs
- Onion - 2 PCs
- Milk - 1 Cup.
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Water - 5 Stak.

Step by step instruction of cooking Estonian porridge "Geratetrager"
While the peas boil wash buckwheat.
Peel potatoes and cut into cubes sereznym. When the peas is half done, put to it the potatoes.
After the potatoes pour buckwheat.
Cook until the water has evaporated. At the end of cooking be careful. Porridge need to constantly stir, otherwise it will burn. Here is the mess at the last stage of cooking.
And so after rubbing with a spoon.
Cup milk to boil and add the chunks to mush. Trituration with milk porridge looks like. Now it so smooth.
Melt the bacon bits or fat in the pan and in the fat fry onion with salt and ground black pepper.
Include porridge with onions. If desired, the cereal immediately, mix with onions. Bon appetit!
