The site is full of recipes for honey cake, but when I saw this recipe in a magazine, I really wanted to bake! Moreover, the weather here is so nasty, so want to pamper yourself with something tasty, flavorful!
Ingredients for Honey cake with honey cream
- Butter - 200 g
- Honey - 80 g
- Apple - 3 PCs
- Lemon juice - 1 tbsp
- Brown sugar - 100 g
- Chicken egg - 3 PCs
- Leavening agent - 2 tsp.
- Flour - 300 g
- Lemon peel - 1 tsp.
- Milk - 6 tbsp.
- Cinnamon - 1 tsp.
- Cream cheese - 250 g
Step by step instruction of cooking Honey cake with honey cream
The products that we need
Beat the room temperature butter with sugar and honey
2 apples clean from the skin, seeds, cut into cubes, mix with 1tbsp. L. lemon juice. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
To the oil mixture one at a time add eggs, stirring as follows, with the last insertion egg 2 tbsp flour
Gradually add to the dough the flour, sifted with baking powder, stir, then add the zest, 1st. L. lemon juice and milk, mix thoroughly
The dough is thick, but runs off the spoon.
Into prepared pan spread 1/2 of the dough, then the diced apples (without juice), close the remaining batter. Bake in preheated oven 50-60 minutes (orientirueshsya on your oven), check the wooden stick.
For the frosting, beat softened butter with cream cheese, add 4st. L. honey (be guided by your taste and the honey!), cinnamon, remove the cream in refrigerator for 2 hours.
To decorate the apples clean from seeds, cut into thin slices, put in pan, add remaining teaspoon of honey, 2st. L. lemon juice, put on medium heat and stew until apples are soft but form is not lost.
The finished cake
The cooled pie remove from the form, lubricated with cream, decorate with slices of apples, put into the fridge.
