Ingredients for Cherry grog
- Cherry - 160 g
- Black tea - 2 tsp.
- Water - 500 ml
- Star anise - 2 PCs
- Cinnamon - 2 PCs
- Rum - 4 tbsp
- Sugar - 40 g
Step by step instruction of cooking Cherry grog
Tea I took flavored. In its composition: black tea, cranberry, vanilla, pineapple, dried rose petals.
Cherries can take the frozen. Put in a saucepan tea (leaves), cherry (half of the specified quantity), star anise and cinnamon.
Cover with cold water and put on the stove. Bring to the boil and remove from heat.
Pour the grog dark rum.
Add sugar to taste. It is better to take brown sugar - it will give a rich caramel flavor. I added sugar "Demerara" TM "Mistral".
The rest of the cherries spread out among the cups and pour the strained grog.
