Green peas with bacon

Offer a very simple recipe of green peas with bacon. This is a classic side dish of British cuisine. Prepared quickly, can be used as a garnish or a separate dish.

- Bacon - 100 g
- Onion - 1 piece
- Butter - 1 tsp.
- Olive oil - 1 tbsp
- Garlic - 1 tooth.
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Green peas - 200 g
- Peppers red hot chilli - 1/4 tsp
Step by step instruction of cooking Green peas with bacon
Green peas from the freezer, rinse with warm water, drain off the water.
Onion cut into half rings.
In a pan pour olive oil, add butter, garlic. Lightly fry onion over moderate heat, slightly salted. Add the bacon, diced. Lightly fry it to remain transparent and not burned.
To remove the garlic.
Add to the bacon, black pepper and red chili.
Add green peas to the bacon.
Fry on high heat for a few minutes, stirring constantly.
Salt to taste.
Serve hot. If there is any doubt that the peas will not have time to prepare as I have, boil it in salted water for 5 min.
