Another fish dish for lent. The combination of herring, apples and onions we all know cold snacks. But it is also "works" hot. Try, it is delicious!

For marinade, mix chopped onion with grain mustard, vegetable oil, lemon juice and teriyaki sauce (I invariably sauce Kikkoman)
Fresh frozen herring defrost completely. Remove the head and insides, have to fillet, removing the bones. Skin save.
Place herring fillets in a baking dish, pour the marinade from both sides, leave to marinate for 15 minutes
Apple cut into slices and place on top of fish.
Pour into a baking dish and water.
Brush coat the apples marinade (part of which will drain to the bottom of the form)
PR bake 180 degrees for about 20 minutes
