Lean orange manna

Manna is a pretty simple pastries with it, and a beginner cook. To please a fasting and not fasting helped here's the recipe for manna. Recipe rescued me before an unexpected arrival of guests. Manna turned out delicious: crunchy crust, soft and porous crumb crumbles in your mouth with sweetness and flavors. The main taste, of course, orange, but it perfectly complements the coconut flavor. Kikkoman soy sauce added by me not by chance, it perfectly enhances the flavor of other components to ready the manna was not fresh. Guests appreciated, so I decided to share with you a good recipe with negapatnam cooking.

Step-by-step instruction of cooking Lean orange manna


Step 1

From one orange I took the zest and squeezed juice, the missing milliliters to 200 just refilled with water. It is possible to use ready-made juice from the package.

Semolina mixed with sugar, coconut, zest.

Pour orange juice.
To improve the color, taste and texture of baked manna add soy sauce Kikkoman. It will give the pastry a beautiful Golden color. It contained salt strengthens the proteins in the dough creates air pockets that creates a light and tender texture.

If you wish, you can decorate according to your taste with fruit pieces, candied fruits, nuts, sprinkled with powdered sugar.

You can quickly prepare the frosting.
Mix the powdered sugar with corn starch, lemon juice, vanilla.

And water, adding a teaspoon, bring to a smooth, thick, fluid mass.

Manna covered with glaze. The icing dried pretty quickly, the porous structure of the manna absorbed its moisture. I added the orange slices.
Was served with tea with fresh mint, the guests were happy!
