This is probably the most common dessert in my family, although I am constantly trying new recipes. This casserole always turns out, looks almost festive, but the taste is so sweet, not cloyingly sweet and balanced, that is never a question of "how to feed the baby the cottage cheese": a) the availability of products and comparative harmlessness, and, if desired, and dimiceli (if you take the low fat foods and replace sugar with bananas, honey or sweeteners) - makes this dish is indispensable in my culinary chest of prizes. The recipe was born in the process of variations and transformations of several other desserts, cheese lovers will surely like)
Ingredients for Cheese casserole in cream jelly
- Sugar - 1 tsp.
- Butter - 65 g
- Salt - 1/4 tsp
- Water - 3 tbsp.
- Flour - 130 g
- Curd - 300 g
- Chicken egg - 1 piece
- Semolina - 30 g
- Flour - 1 tbsp
- Sour cream - 2 tbsp
- Milk - 2 tbsp
- Sugar - 45 g
- Vanilla - 1 depot.
- Salt - 1 depot.
- Sour cream - 250 g
- Sugar - 40 g
- Cocoa powder - 1 tsp.
- Gelatin - 0,7 tbsp
- Water - 4 tbsp
- Kiwi - 1 piece
- Coconut shavings - 2 tbsp
Step by step instruction of cooking Cheese casserole in cream jelly
Make the dough.
Pour in a bowl the flour, mix with salt and sugar. Grate or cut pieces of butter into the flour with your fingers to grind into crumbs.
Continue to pour into this baby about 3-4 tablespoons of cold water, to sculpt the dough into gingerbread man (long mix!)
On the baking paper to roll the dough out into a circle the size of the form (I have a 18cm)+3 cm for the sides (If your form is more than 18 cm, I recommend to increase the number of the test, or not to do the bumpers).
Transfer the dough on the paper in the split mold, flatten, sculpt the sides. Prick the dough with a fork and place in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
After preheat the oven to 200 degrees and bake the dough for about 15 minutes.
In a separate bowl put curd, to drive the egg, pour the semolina our blend. If the curd is homemade, lumps - interrupting immersion blender, if curd homogeneous - just mix everything with a spoon or with a mixer.
Then add sugar, salt, vanillin and look at the consistency: if the mass of the liquid, add a spoonful of flour, if not too liquid - half spoon. In the end it will still be watery - do not be afraid of it:)
Mix well the curd mixture and pour it over the cooked dough. Bake at 170 degrees for about 50-60 minutes (it is advisable to put on the bottom of the oven pot with the water, like when baking a cheesecake). When cheesecake is ready, cool completely, taking out from the mold.
Meanwhile, incomplete tablespoon of gelatin cover with water and leave for 15 minutes to swell. Then dissolve it in a water bath (do not boil) and set aside to cool slightly.
Split mold vystelim ordinary plastic bag. If your form is more and no package of the right size, you can wrap the form with cling film. On the bottom put the cooled casserole, make the knife such notch, it is necessary to ensure that the jelly coat is best grabbed with cottage cheese.
Whisk sour cream with sugar and cocoa. At this point, you can try the sour cream and add sugar. Continuing to whisk, pour a thin stream of gelatin.
Pour sour cream over casserole and put in the fridge literally for 5-10 minutes, until the jelly is slightly set. After that, take out and decorate the top as desired, I cut up the kiwi and sprinkled with coconut.
Send back to the refrigerator until fully cured (about 1 hour)
When the jelly hardens, release the cake from the form and remove the cellophane as shown in photo, I clipped it with scissors. Transfer to a plate.
Casserole turns out elegant and tasty, my men eat half at a time))) But if to try with the design - makes a very festive dessert. At least this dish I am asked to prepare a cake for many holidays.
