Ingredients for Georgian snack of "pkhali"
- Beets - 1 piece
- Walnuts - 100 g
- Red onion - 1 piece
- Garlic - 3 tooth.
- Khmeli-suneli - 0.5 tsp.
- Cilantro - 2 vetos.
- Coriander - 0.3 tsp.
- Vinegar - 1 tsp.
- Black pepper
Step by step instruction of cooking Georgian snack of "pkhali"
To roast beets, cool, peel, cut into cubes.
Onions and garlic peel and finely chop. Rinse the herbs and grind them. Grind walnuts.
To combine in a blender the nuts, onion, garlic, herbs, wine vinegar, spices and salt. Grind until a homogeneous mass. Add beets to a blender and blend with the prepared dressing until smooth. Wet hands to form from the mass of the balls and place them on serving dish. Decorate with walnuts. Bon appetit!
