Breakfast at the cottage needs to be quick and delicious! And preferably useful! Don't always have time to cook classic milk porridge. But such a mess like always! Quick and delicious!
Ingredients for Millet porridge with carrots and dried apricots
- Millet - 2 pack.
- Butter - 40 g
- Carrots - 200 g
- Dried apricots - 50 g
- Milk - 100...150 ml
- Salt - 1 depot.
- Sugar - 2 tbsp
Step by step instruction of cooking Millet porridge with carrots and dried apricots
Bags* with millet put in boiling water and cook for 20 minutes
*the weight of one sachet of 62.5 g
In a saucepan melt the butter and add the grated carrot, sauté for about 5 minutes.
Wash the apricots and cut into slices.
To the carrots add the milk so that it just covered it (100-150 ml). Add salt, sugar, dried apricots and simmer another 15 minutes over low heat, stirring constantly.
Millet is ready, remove tea bags and add to carrots, stir.
Serve garnished with berries.
