Ingredients for Soup "Fishing" with barley
- Canned fish - 1 ban.
- Pearl barley - 2 tbsp
- Potatoes - 2 PCs
- Carrots - 1 piece
- Onion - 1 piece
- Vegetable oil - 3 tbsp.
- Spices - 1/2 tsp.
- Black pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Bay leaf - 1 piece
- Water - 2.5 l
- Allspice - 5 PCs
Step by step instruction of cooking Soup "Fishing" with barley
Pearl barley to soak for a few hours, preferably overnight. Then rinse well.
In cold water (2,5) liters add the pearl barley. A pot to boil, when boiling remove the foam. Cook grits until soft.
Carrot (1 piece) slice it into thin strips.
Onions (1 pieces) cut into half rings.
In a pan add 3 tbsp oil, add carrot strips and chopped onion half rings. Sauté the vegetables until light Golden brown.
Potatoes (2pcs.) cut into cubes.
The broth with the barley, add the potatoes. Cook the potatoes until Al dente.
Then add the canned black pepper (5 pieces), salt and ground black pepper to taste.
Add spicy dried herbs (1/2 tsp).
Add the browned vegetables of onions and carrots.
Add Bay leaf (1 piece). Give writing a rolling boil for another few minutes (5-7 min) Remove from heat.
