For lovers of simple and tasty dishes I want to offer a very interesting option, how to cook chicken liver with the addition of Brussels sprouts and sweet and sour pickles.
Ingredients for Liver with cucumbers and Brussels sprouts
- Chicken liver - 250 g
- Brussels sprouts - 200 g
- Pickled cucumber - 1 piece
- Onion - 1 piece
- Sour cream - 2 tbsp
- Water - 100 ml
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Spices - 1 tsp.
- Figure - 2 pack.
- Green onions
- Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp
Step by step instruction of cooking Liver with cucumbers and Brussels sprouts
Water bring to the boil, add some salt and put a few bags of rice. Cook according to the instructions on the package 30 minutes.
Chicken liver wash and remove the membranes. Cut them into small pieces of equal size. Heat in a pan with vegetable oil and put in her liver. Stir fry over medium heat for 5-7 minutes.
Onion peel and cut into half rings, add the liver and fry for another couple of minutes.
Pickled cucumber cut into strips, place in pan.
To omit the Brussels sprouts in boiling salted water for 5 minutes, then drain in a colander to drain all the water.
Cabbage to send to other components, add sour cream, water, salt, pepper and herbes de Provence, stir.
Cover the pan with a lid and simmer the dish on low heat for 10 minutes. During this time, the product is impregnated with the aromas each other and completely ready.
Ready liver with pickles and Brussels sprouts is best served with a side of crispy rice. Optional sprinkle of freshly chopped herbs.
