Sauce haydari is a popular Turkish snack – meze. This sauce is very good with warm fresh baked bread, the consistency of its thick and dense, its good to spread on bread, but it is also perfect for meat and vegetables.
Ingredients for Sauce "Haidari"
- Yogurt - 200 g
- Cheese - 70 g
- Mint - 2 vetos.
- Garlic - 1 tooth.
- Olive oil - 1.5 tbsp
- Peppers red hot chilli - to taste
- Dill - 2 vetos.
Step by step instruction of cooking Sauce "Haidari"
Our required products.
Mint leaves finely chop and pour the oil, leave to infuse.
If a dry mint –it should be warmed in warm oil.
Crumble the feta cheese.
Finely chop the garlic and add to a Cup of yogurt. Red pepper are added to taste.
Add crumbled feta cheese and dill.
In the end added peppermint oil with mint.
And here is our sauce is ready.
There are recipes where "Haidari" add arugula, or fried in butter carrots, walnuts.
