- Sugar - 5 tbsp
- Vinegar - 15 ml
- Black pepper - 10 PCs
- Allspice - 15 PCs
- Bay leaf - 1 piece
- Vegetable oil - 150 ml
Step by step instruction of cooking Caviar-filling "Plum-squash"
All vegetables, plums and apples mince.
I use grid with large holes. Put on the fire. Proverjaem a bit. Add salt, sugar, sunflower oil, vinegar, spices. Cook for 1-1,5 hours under the cover periodically to stir. At the end of cooking I usually lay a spoon, cool it in the refrigerator and taste it. If something is missing (salt, sugar, acid), then add.
Spread on sterile banks, roll up and under the blanket to cool.
In the winter we used it as a caviar snack, adding fresh cilantro (other herbs) and garlic. Or add as a dressing to soups, borscht.
