Traditional Azerbaijani lamb dish. Something between a soup and a second dish. Thanks to this dish I fell in love with the lamb!
Ingredients for Caliper
- Lamb - 500 g
- Onion - 2 PCs
- Green bell pepper - 4 PCs
- Water - 400 ml
- Salt - to taste
- Spices - to taste
- Tomato - 4 PCs
Step by step instruction of cooking Caliper
Meat cut into small pieces. Onion thin half-rings.
To put this into a large kettle, cover with water and simmer. After some time, add salt. As necessary to add water.
15-20 minutes until ready to put the coarsely chopped tomatoes and pepper, add spices.
In total everything should simmer for 1.5 hours.
The meat turns out very tender
