Thick, rich, incredibly flavorful and beautiful! This way I never cooked bean soup. The soup is meatless, but very hearty, moderately spicy, but not at the expense of pepper. Love to eat soup for lunch, but for some reason, and in the evening I wanted to eat another bowl of this soup.

The beans soak for 4 hours or more. I soaked the night.

Put on high heat, bring to a boil, diminish the heat to low, cover with lid and cook for 2 hours enjoying the wonderful aromas!
In two hours you add to the pot the diced potatoes and salt, cook for another 30 minutes. Pulls out a pouch with herbs and add the spinach.
If the spinach is small, leave it whole, cut into large.
Try, add to taste salt and sugar.
