Ingredients for Pumpkin meatballs!
- Minced meat - 450 g
- Pumpkin - 250 g
- Onion - 100 g
- Starch - 1 tbsp
- Flour - 1 tbsp
- Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp
- Water - 400 ml
- Salt - to taste
- Spices - to taste
Step by step instruction of cooking Pumpkin meatballs!
Pumpkin RUB on a small grater. (weight already peeled vegetable)
Onion very finely chopped.
Minced meat (chicken/beef), pumpkin and onions put into a bowl, add starch (potato or corn), salt. Thoroughly mix the stuffing.
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan, add the flour and fry the flour until caramel color, stirring constantly.
Pour hot water and cook the sauce for 3-4 minutes. (all the time mix the sauce with a whisk to avoid flour lumps)
The sauce and season with salt and season with your favorite spices. I like paprika, dried peppers and ground garlic. A pinch will be enough.
From stuffing to form small meatballs, put them in a baking dish.
