The season of watermelons! Watermelon, of course delicious by itself, nobody argues. But at least once try to cook him this delicious dessert. I can assure you he will be king of summer feast!
Ingredients for Double-layered terrine of melon with berries
- Milk - 200 ml
- Sour cream - 200 g
- Sugar - 90 g
- Vanilla sugar - 5 g
- Gelatin - 10 g
- Assorted berries - 250 g
- Watermelon - 500 g
- Gelatin - 20 g
- Lemon juice - 2 tsp.
- Salt - 1 depot.
- Berry - 300 g
- Lemon juice - 1 tsp.
- Sugar - 60 g
Step by step instruction of cooking Double-layered terrine of melon with berries

In cold milk add gelatin, stir and leave to swell for 20 minutes

Then heat the milk with the gelatin until it dissolves, add the sugar, vanilla sugar and sour cream, stir all well until smooth

Pour all in a rectangular shape and place in fridge until fully cured for 1-2 hours.
a little advice: use either silicone molds or line a rimmed container with clingfilm to make it easier to retrieve the dessert.

Raspberries and cherries, wash and drain in a sieve

Crush the berries in a blender, then RUB through a sieve, in order not to hit bone. In the resulting puree, add the gelatin, stir and leave to swell for 20 minutes

The watermelon peel off the cover and remove carefully all the bones, flesh grind in a blender into a puree

Add to watermelon puree puree with the gelatin, sugar, salt and SICILIA lime juice, heat slightly to dissolve gelatin. Cool slightly weight

Gently pour the red layer over the white and put in the refrigerator until fully cured for 2-3 hours

To prepare the sauce, you can use any berries. It is advisable to take the berries with bright slightly sour taste: currants, gooseberries, cranberries.

Grind in a blender into a puree, add the sugar, lime juice SICILIA and boil for 1-2 minutes. Cool the sauce.

Ready, carefully remove the terrine from the mould on a dish, decorate to your taste, or leave it without decorations
