On the website there is already a traditional French recipe "Potato Baker". I want to add and its version, with meat on the bone. Method of preparation "Baker" you'll be long-lasting languor meals and aroma.
Ingredients for The Bucco in a nice Baker
- Veal - 1.25 kg
- Potatoes - 600 g
- Onion - 2 PCs
- Garlic - 2 the tooth.
- Broth - 150 ml
- Dry white wine - 100 ml
- Thyme - 3 tsp.
- Bay leaf - 2 PCs
- Butter - 30 g
- Olive oil - 3 tbsp.
- Salt - to taste
Step by step instruction of cooking The Bucco in a nice Baker

Potatoes wash, peel and thinly slice approximately 3 mm thick using a mandolin. To it add salt, pepper, 2 tsp thyme, finely chopped onion and garlic. Mix well.

In a deep frying pan, melt the butter together with the olive. Brown the meat on each side for 10 minutes, until Golden brown.

Place potatoes in a heatproof dish. Put meat. All pour broth and wine. Add the Bay leaves (one for potatoes, one for meat) and the meat sprinkle the remaining 1 tsp thyme.

The dishes cover with a lid or foil. Send at 1 h 10 min 1 h 30 min in an oven, preheated to 180 degrees. Check the potatoes for readiness, then wait for 10 minutes at 200 degrees without the foil/cover.
