Pork with pepper and herbs

Roast pork is one of the most simple and quick cooking (and eating!) dishes. This time I decided to diversify. In summer we zamorozili on the winter bell pepper, farshiruem it with herbs – mixture of parsley, cilantro, dill and celery leaves. Procurement proved to be very helpful. Pork, however, using this set of products and method of cooking was not fried and stewed, but the appetite of the family members is not affected. Just got a new dish. When harvesting peppers, we used a seasonal, green, local harvest.

Ingredients for Pork with pepper and herbs
- Pork - 900 g
- Pepper - 6 PCs
- Celery leaf - 1 Puig.
- Parsley - 1 Puig.
- Cilantro - 1 Puig.
- Dill - 1 Puig.
- Onion - 2 PCs
- Melted butter - 80 g
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Step by step instruction of cooking Pork with pepper and herbs
Meat cut into pieces approximately 3x2 cm
Pepper together with herbs to cut.
Onions cut into half rings or strips into quarters.
In skillet, heat clarified butter to color the meat – fry the portions, so pork went into the pan in a single layer.
Put roasted meat in the skillet.
On the same oil that fried the meat, fry the onions until it changes colour, the end a little salt.
Onions put in a saucepan on top of the pork.
On top lay sliced rings of bell pepper with herbs. Season with salt and pepper, cover, bring to a boil, reduce the heat to minimum and simmer for 30 minutes.
Serve with any side dish – we have the boiled rice. The perfect side dish for this meat!
