Today I offer you to cook the mousse of smoked trout, a wonderful appetizer of fish, simple and tasty. A great recipe for parties and receptions. You can use any red fish of cold Smoking (salmon, trout, salmon). This simple delicate mousse can be used as a filling for pancakes, you can serve it with crackers and croutons and with fresh vegetables such as cucumber slices or radishes. However, the presence of fruits does not exclude bread component.
Ingredients for Mousse of smoked trout
- Trout - 400 g
- Anchovies - 5 PCs
- Cheese curd - 250 g
- Sour cream - 200 g
- Mustard - 2 tbsp
- Black pepper - to taste
Step by step instruction of cooking Mousse of smoked trout
To make fish mousse, finely chop the trout cold-smoked.
Chop the anchovies.
In a bowl for whipping put sliced fish, sour cream, cream cheese, mustard (better to take the grain, it is more mild than spicy), pepper to taste.
Whisk blender all ingredients until smooth. Put the mousse of smoked trout in the fridge.
To serve the mousse of fish to the table chilled as a snack, can be used to prepare canapés or sandwiches. I used fish mousse layer pancake cake.
