This Easter craftin postlogin decoration for any holiday table and sure to impress guests! Decided to use a nonstandard approach to the long-known pastries. Hoping to create a bright, spectacular and memorable longitudinal section of the test, were able to achieve such a colorful! The original combination of flavors in perfect harmony in this kind of test. Help yourself with pleasure and discover new tastes!
Ingredients for Graffin Easter "Coloured dreams"
- Flour - 300 g
- Yeast - 7 g
- Beets - 70 g
- Butter - 50 g
- Milk - 50 ml
- Sugar - 50 g
- Salt - 1 tsp.
- Chicken egg - 3 PCs
- Flavor - 0.5 tsp.
- Prunes - 50 g
- Walnuts - 10 g
- Butter - 100 g
Step by step instruction of cooking Graffin Easter "Coloured dreams"
Beets small size clean, rinse and grate on a fine grater. Weight grated beetroot for about 70
1 package (7 g) instant yeast TM "Dr. Oetker" mixed with 300 g sifted flour and mix well.
50 g butter melt and add 50 ml of warm milk, stir and let cool slightly. Beat the 2 eggs with 50 g sugar and 1 tsp salt and combine with the warm weight of butter and milk. Add 0.5 ml of food flavour "vanilla Cream" TM "Dr. Oetker". Mix everything carefully.
The resulting mixture is added to flour, and gradually knead the dough. The total mass of the test I was 530
Now it is important to separate the dough into two equal parts. The 1st part you can sprinkle the top with flour, cover with a towel and leave to rest for 2 hours in a warm place.
Will do the 2nd part of the test.
It should be done in color. To do this, add to the dough grated beets. Knead thoroughly, to beet distributed evenly throughout the dough. At this stage it may be necessary to add flour to avoid sticking to hands. Once the beets are evenly dispersed throughout the dough, shape into a ball, sprinkle lightly with flour and leave to rest under a towel in a warm place for 2 hours.
While the dough is resting, you can prepare the prunes and walnuts.
I prunes pour boiling water for 15-20 minutes, then well washed and cut into small pieces. The output I got 50 g's already steamed prunes.
The nuts can be chopped rather finely.
And now, after a 2 hour rest yeast TM "Dr. Oetker" did the trick and color the dough is well risen!
And here's another part of the test, which also went well.
Now the surface of the table liberally sprinkle with flour and roll out the colored part of the dough as thin as possible a rectangular form, which must apply a liberal amount of softened butter and evenly sprinkle with sliced prunes.
Gently roll the dough into a loaf. Sprinkle with flour and leave to rest.
Now go to the 2nd part of the test. In the same way as with the 1st part, roll out a thin layer of a rectangular shape, liberally brush with remaining softened butter. Now evenly sprinkle with walnuts. Gently roll into a log and sprinkle lightly with flour.
Here are 2 rolls turned out in the end.
Now with the help of curly (or regular) knife, cut each roll along.
If you are going to do caffine in small forms, I would recommend at this stage to cut each harness again into 2 parts. Thus in the end get 8 harnesses.
Take 1 light and 1 coloured part of the test. The upper ends together, a good pushing, then twisting the 2 harness together. The bottom edge is also properly fix.
Then from one end spin in a spiral to the other edge, trying to cut part of the stripes were outside for a clearer external picture.
Carefully shift the dough in the prepared pan (bottom covered with parchment, and the walls dusted with flour). The form to fill approximately 2/3 of the volume. The surface of caffine brush with beaten egg. Cover with a towel and give to stand for 20-30 minutes in a warm place.
I have a form with a diameter of 9, 8 and 6 cm.
If the rearrangement of caffine in a small mould (like me, for example, 6 cm), he was very big in volume, you just need additional part woven plaits cut off and press down the edge to make a neat tip of caffine.
You only have to send caffine to bake in preheated to 180 degrees oven until it will turn brown. Baking time depends on the volume of the test from 35 to 45 minutes. You can check the test readiness of a wooden skewer.
After baking for 15-20 minutes, you can get caffine of shapes.. allow to completely cool and then optionally, you can decorate with icing sugar.
But in this case I would advise you to leave "Coloured dreams" in its natural form and enjoy from the heart of their beauty!
