- Potatoes - 4 PCs
- Carrots - 2 PCs

- Black pepper - to taste
- Allspice - to taste
- Salt - to taste

Step by step instruction of cooking Ear of herring
Potatoes, carrots and onions to boil in boiling water. Water at the rate of 2.5 liters.
Add allspice and black pepper, Bay leaf and salt.
Fresh herring cleaned, cut into pieces and put in water. Add the chopped tomato.
If desired, add Cayenne pepper.
Cook for 10-15 minutes. Remove from heat and sprinkle with parsley.
The aroma of the soup can be enhanced by steaming the log. Let stand 10 minutes ear.
