Posting a recipe of soup is akin to reinventing the wheel, but I'll take my chances. Soup at chef Konstantin Ivlev is prepared simply, quickly, and tastes just wonderful! The soup is thick, flavorful, wonderful bright colors, the taste is rich, sweet and sour. Try it, we loved the Kostin soup.
Ingredients for Costin soup
- Potatoes - 3 PCs
- Beets - 3 PCs
- Cabbage - 300 g
- Lemon - 1 piece
- Garlic - 5 a tooth.
- Red sweet pepper - 1 piece
- Tomatoes pureed - 200 ml
- Salt - 2 tsp.
- Sugar - 1 tbsp
- Butter - 75 g
- Vegetable oil - 3 tbsp.
Step by step instruction of cooking Costin soup

Cabbage, sweet pepper and potatoes cut into strips, hot pepper - thin slices
In a saucepan pour the water (1.5-2 liters), bring to a boil, add 1 tsp of salt, toss in the cabbage and potatoes and cook on low heat.
One beet grate from the extracted juice.
Grated beet fry in a little vegetable oil, add the julienne peppers, tomato pulp, squeeze juice from lemon, add salt and sugar, pour in half a Cup of water and simmer for 20 minutes.
Put the beetroot and the onion in a saucepan, pour in beet juice, add the chopped garlic and bring to a boil.
Remove the pan from the heat, taste for salt-sugar-acid, add the butter, cover with a lid and insist 20 minutes.
When serving, add sour cream and your favorite herbs.
