Next, the potatoes and carrots and rinse in cold water to remove the starch from the potatoes.

In a pan, add 5 tbsp of vegetable oil. Heat the pan on medium heat. Next, put the diced potatoes and carrots. Fry the potatoes and carrots on medium heat for 3-5 min.

Cauliflower (250 gr.) disassemble on inflorescences, rinse in cold water.

Add to potatoes and carrots and cauliflower. Add salt to taste and black pepper, add water, about 1/2 Cup. The pan with the vegetable mixture cover and simmer on low heat until soft potatoes and carrots. Cabbage, if desired, you can simmer until Al dente. I want to note, I did not add onion to vegetable mixture. This side dish, I make without adding onion. Optionally, you can add onions. For three to five minutes until cooked add the Bay leaf.
