I suggest You to prepare this appetizer with broccoli, which not only give the hummus paints, but will also enrich it with many useful substances. Ingredients for Hummus with broccoli
- Chickpeas - 200 g
- Broccoli - 150 g
- Paste tahini - 20 g
- Olive oil - 1 tbsp
- Lemon juice - 2 tbsp
- Salt - to taste
- Garlic powder - 0.5 tsp.
- Zira - 0.5 tsp.
Step by step instruction of cooking Hummus with broccoli
Chickpeas soak overnight. Water in which soaked chickpeas, drain and add new ones to cover the chickpeas by 5 cm to Brew 1-1. 5 hours. The remaining water is not drained. Chickpeas to cool.
Broccoli slice and cook for 10 minutes. Cool.
In the bowl of a food processor ( I have a GALAXY GL2300) to load the chickpeas (leave some for garnish), broccoli, the tahina, oil, lemon juice, salt and spices and whisk, gradually adding cooled broth to reach desired consistency ( it took me around 100 ml).
For supply, I fried grilled baguette.
