Shred the cabbage, cover with water. Salt, add Bay leaf and simmer for 10 minutes until all the liquid is evaporated.
Put aside the cabbage and pour oil in the free part of the pan. Put the chopped onions, grated carrots. Fry for 2-3 minutes, then mix with the cabbage and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
