Mix oatmeal, yogurt, honey, and cinnamon. Mix thoroughly. Instead of yogurt you can take milk or yogurt.
In a saucepan, add the currants (can be frozen), sugar, vanilla, cardamom and flax seed. Fill with water to cover the bottom.
Saute on medium heat for 5 minutes. (If necessary, pour water.) The oatmeal and currants to put in the fridge overnight.
In the morning, place the oatmeal and currant layers. From the top you can sprinkle with nuts (I had peanuts).
