Ingredients for Pea soup with smoked meat and croutons
- Butter - 2 tbsp
- Vegetable oil - 3 tbsp.
- Black pepper
- Bay leaf - 2 PCs
- Greens - 1 Puig.
- Pepper - 1 piece
- Onion - 2 PCs
- Carrots - 1 piece
- Ribs - 2 PCs
- Peas - 1 Cup.
- Potatoes - 5 PCs
- Sausages - 2 PCs
Step by step instruction of cooking Pea soup with smoked meat and croutons
Peas pour boiling water and leave to swell for 30 minutes.
Smoked ribs cut into pieces.
In a saucepan (about 3 liters) boil water, add peas and smoked ribs. Cook for 15-20 minutes.
Meanwhile, the potatoes, wash and cut into cubes. Add the broth to the peas.
Onion cut into half rings, carrot grate on a coarse grater, pepper cut into strips and fry in a mixture of butter and vegetable oils.
Hunting sausages cut into slices (I have another piece of smoked sausage was, I added there too).
Bread cut into cubes and roast in the oven or in a frying pan.
When the potato is almost ready, put the sausage, fried vegetables, Bay leaf, universal seasoning, freshly ground pepper, salt (if needed) and cook for 5 minutes.
Then lay the greens. A couple of minutes and the soup is ready.
Pour into a bowl and sprinkle with croutons.
