Ingredients for Steamed vegetables in Bulgarian
- Onion - 1 piece
- Pepper - 0.5 PCs
- Mushrooms - 2 Gorst.
- Broccoli - 200 g
- Cauliflower - 200 g
- Zucchini - 1 piece
- Puree vegetables - 0.5 PK cat.
- Lecho - 5-7 tbsp
- Basil - 0.5 tsp.
- Seasoning - 0.5 tsp.
- Bay leaf - 4 PCs
- Salt - to taste
- Vegetable oil
Step by step instruction of cooking Steamed vegetables in Bulgarian
Onion cut into medium-sized pieces. Fry in butter until Golden brown. Add Bay leaf, Italian herbs, Basil, a little salt. Mix well. Fry a couple of minutes. Add the sliced bell pepper. Stir fry for 5 minutes. Add mushrooms. Stir and fry.
Add to the pan of broccoli, cauliflower, peeled and diced zucchini. Stir and fry for about 10 minutes.
Add vegetable mixture and Lecho. Stir and simmer on a slow fire, periodically stirring slowly under a lid for about 15-20 minutes until tender.
To serve as a separate dish or with rice or pasta.
