Step by step instruction of cooking Cookie "Date"
Make the dough.We are gonna wipe the flour with softened butter.Then add the egg yolks+sugar+cream+vanilla sugar and carefully knead the dough until smooth.Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

Roll out the dough to a thickness of 5 mm. I do this between two sheets of parchment paper.
Cut into strips about 6-7cm in the middle of the spread dates.
Roll into a tube.And put them in the freezer for 15 minutes.
Then cut with a sharp knife into cookies.Spread on a baking sheet with parchment paper.
