Step by step instruction of cooking Stuffed peppers at home
Wash the pepper, remove the stem.
Cut into cubes onions and carrots. In hot oil fry gently the onion.
Add the carrots and fry on low heat.
Meat (pork) cut into small cubes about 1 × 1 cm.
Add the washed rice.
Finely chop the herbs and add to the rice-meat mixture.
Slightly cool the roasted vegetables, add rice, meat and greens. Salt, pepper, add seasonings. Stir thoroughly.
Cut the middle of the pepper, stuff it with the resulting meat. Fill tightly, but not completely, in the process of cooking the rice will swell up, pepper can burst or the stuffing will be in the casserole. Folded in a large kettle, pour boiling water, boil until cooked the rice and meat, which is about 40 minutes.
Before the end of cooking, add grated grated tomatoes or tomato paste for a richer taste.
