Ingredients for Solyanka on my way
- Potatoes - 1 kg
- Carrots - 1 piece
- Onion - 1 piece
- Meat - 600 g
- Pickled cucumber - 500 g
- Tomato paste - 160 g
- Broth - 4 years
- Veal - 200 g
- Green olives
- Black pepper
- Pork - 200 g
- Salami - 200 g
- Lemon - 1 piece
Step by step instruction of cooking Solyanka on my way
Potatoes cut into cubes of 3X3 cm, and carrots finely chop or grate on a coarse grater, onion small cubes
Meats cut into cubes 1.5 X 1.5 cm
Onion cut into half rings, to fry. Add shredded or diced carrots. When is Golden - add the meats. Minutes after 2, when all warmed up - add pickles.
Stew for another 5 minutes, add tomato for color (I added too little - 80g, so it did not work very well in color, but still very tasty).
Separately boil the broth (very tasty to cook meat on the bone is better young veal - the meat to use for dumplings/pancakes or slice them into a hodgepodge) is to throw a potato.
Once the potatoes are cooked - about 15 minutes - add roasted vegetables and smoked meats with pickles. If you add BEFORE the cooked potato - it will remain raw.
Boil all together for another 5 minutes. Let stand half an hour, no less.
When serving, sprinkle with chopped herbs, add maslinka or olives, sprinkle with pepper, add the sour cream/myogesic.
